Connection method and wire sequence of network cable crystal head

There are two ways to connect the crystal head of the network cable, one is the direct connection method and the other is the cross connection method.

Direct connection method: Connect both ends according to the T568B line sequence standard.

Cross connection method: Connect one end in T568A line sequence and the other end in T568B line sequence. Specific connection situation:

1) Peer to peer network (where the network cards of two computers are directly interconnected): uses a cross line connection method, with different connections at both ends of the network cable.

2) Network card and switch (or HUB): Use a straight line connection method, with the same connection method at both ends of the network cable.

3) Switch and switch (or HUB) cascading: using cross line connection method, with different connection methods at both ends of the network cable. Place the tail of the crystal head downwards (i.e. with the flat side facing upwards), from left to right, at positions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, respectively.
