1、 Product Introduction

The MX-1550 series 1550nm CATV erbium-doped fiber amplifier is an important optical relay transmission equipment in 1550nm fiber optic communication systems, mainly used for long-distance fiber optic transmission of TV image signals, digital TV signals, telephone voice signals, and data (or compressed data) signals.

The MX-1550 series 1550nm CATV erbium-doped fiber amplifier uses internationally renowned low-noise pump lasers, imported high-performance erbium-doped fibers, and is equipped with a complete microcomputer automatic monitoring system, ensuring excellent performance indicators of the entire machine.

Select internationally renowned low-noise pump lasers with low distortion, wide bandwidth, and high output optical power.

Using imported high-performance erbium-doped fibers, the energy conversion efficiency is high.

Equipped with a built-in microcomputer automatic monitoring circuit, it can accurately monitor the optical output power and various working states of the laser in real time, ensuring stable optical output power and effectively extending the working life of the laser.

Special note: The technical parameters of the equipment provided in this manual refer to GY/T 184-2002 Analog Fiber Optic Amplification for Cable TV Systems

The testing method specified in the "Technical Requirements and Measurement Methods for Instruments" shall be carried out under the following testing conditions.

Test conditions: A test link is formed with a standard optical transmitter, a standard optical receiver, and a 10km standard optical fiber. 59 PAL-D analog TV channel signals are configured in the frequency range of 550MHz, and digital modulation signals are transmitted in the frequency range of 550-750/862 MHz. The level of the digital modulation signal (within the bandwidth of 8 MHz) is 10dB lower than the carrier level of the analog signal. When the input optical power of the optical receiver is 0dBm, the carrier combination third-order beat ratio (C/CTB) is measured Carrier combination second-order beat ratio (C/CSO) and carrier to noise ratio (C/N).

The default factory configuration for the fiber optic interface of this device is FC/APC interface. If there are any other special requirements, please specify them when placing an order.

Optional -48V DC power supply, please specify when ordering.

There are also low-power input models (MX-1550+), please specify when placing an order; The input optical power of low-power input models can be as low as -5 dBm.
